1. BACKGROUND; REGISTRATION
Inductive Automation values systems integrators and their ability to provide solutions to end users of our Ignition software. Inductive Automation expresses this value by making the Integrator Program available to integrators. The Integrator Program recognizes an integrator’s certifications in our Ignition software and distribution of Inductive Automation’s products among the integrator’s customer base by making increasing benefits available to the integrator as higher degrees of certification and greater volumes of distribution are achieved.
Integrators may enroll in the Integrator Program by completing the program application. As part of applying to the Integrator Program, integrators may be required to provide documentation and information reasonably requested by Inductive Automation from time to time, such as: (a) verification of an Employment Identification Number or similar tax identification; (b) verification of standing to do business in the jurisdiction in which Integrator is legally organized; or (c) use of a business email domain.
Participation in the Integrator Program is subject to an integrator’s accepting and complying with these guidelines and accepting and complying with any applicable terms and conditions Inductive Automation may require from time to time (if any). Inductive Automation may withhold an integrator’s participation in the Integrator Program, and may not permit an integrator to resell our products to our end users unless the integrator is in compliance with these guidelines and applicable terms and conditions (if any).
2. INTEGRATOR LEVELS AND QUALIFICATIONS

3. INTEGRATOR BENEFITS
Inductive Automation may, in its sole discretion: (i) invite integrators participating in the Integrator Program to attend training or learning opportunities from time to time, such as advanced digital workshops hosted by Inductive Automation personnel, or lunch and learn sessions; (ii) support integrators’ sales efforts by making Inductive Automation’s personnel available to support an integrator’s sales efforts.

¹ “Technical Support Services” are support services provided by Inductive
Automation to address: (a) downloading and installing our Ignition software in compliance with its
documentation; (b) configuring and using our Ignition software in manners contemplated by or
described in its documentation; and (c) replacing a previous version of our Ignition software with
a newer version that has been purchased. Inductive Automation will use commercially reasonable
efforts to provide an integrator with Technical Support Services in accordance with its then-current
software support and maintenance policies.
Under these guidelines, Inductive Automation is not obligated to provide an Integrator with any support
services outside of Technical Support Services. By way of example only, support services outside of
Technical Support Services may include (but are not limited to) issues concerning: (i) how to
achieve a particular goal using our Ignition software; (ii) the use of our Ignition software in
combination with any other equipment, software, or materials in a manner not contemplated by or
described in the Documentation; (iii) hardware, operating systems, networks, third-party software
alterations, add-ons, applications developed using our software, configurations of our software not
contemplated by or described in its documentation, or our end users' processes or systems created
by using or which involve our software; or (iv) versions of our software that Inductive Automation
no longer supports. Inductive Automation will determine whether an issue requires its provision of
Technical Support Services or non-Technical Support Services in its sole and absolute discretion.
Inductive Automation may provide non-Technical Support Services at its discretion and subject to
additional terms and conditions (including payment terms), or may refer Integrators needing
non-Technical Support Services to relevant Inductive Automation personnel (e.g., training; sales
engineering).
Inductive Automation expects integrators to report any suspected defects in our software to
Inductive Automation, and to reasonably cooperate with Inductive Automation’s investigation of a
reported defect.
² Inductive Automation respects that each integrator has its own business practices and business model. Inductive Automation makes a searchable index of integrators participating in the Integrator Program called the Integrator Search. An integrator participating in the Integrator Program can create a profile for the Integrator Search highlighting their specific qualifications, such as their certification level, specializations, experience, and location. The Integrator Search allows our end users to filter integrators participating in the Integrator Program based upon an end user’s needs. From the Integrator Search, our end users are directed to an integrator’s website to contact them directly. Note that Credentialed Integrators appear in the Integrator Search, but only when included in the applicable filter selections of the Integrator Search (i.e., not by default).
³ Inductive Automation may, in its sole discretion, make co-marketing opportunities available to Premier Integrators such as featuring a Premier Integrator in a case study or customer project highlight, inviting a Premier Integrator to participate in Inductive Automation’s Ignition Community Conference, and more.
⁴ Inductive Automation offers free certification tests to integrators’ employees based on an integrator's level:
-
Core Certification Tests – All Integrators:
Employees holding an Inductive University credential for the latest version of the Software receive (i) 1 free test for the Ignition Core Certification and (ii) free tests for recertification of their Ignition Core Certification (assuming they still hold an Inductive University credential for the latest version of the Software at the time of recertification). -
Gold Certification Tests – Premier Integrators:
Premier Integrators receive 2 free tests for the Ignition Gold Certification per calendar quarter. -
Gold Certification Tests – Gold Integrators, Certified Integrators and Credentialed Integrators:
Gold Integrators, Certified Integrators and Credentialed Integrators receive 1 free test for the Ignition Gold Certification for every 5 employees who have passed the Ignition Core Certification test (including recertification tests) as of January 1, 2025 onward.
Tests for the Ignition Gold Certification will be issued as credits redeemable on Inductive Automation’s training webpage. Premier Integrators must redeem their credits for 2 free tests for the Ignition Gold Certification during the calendar quarter for which they are issued; credits do not carry over into following quarters. Employees must hold a current Ignition Core Certification to be eligible to use a free test for the Ignition Gold Certification.
4. INTEGRATOR DISCOUNTS
Integrators may be entitled to discounts on the purchase of our products based on their then-current Level. To receive discounts, integrators must be current on their payment obligations to Inductive Automation (and otherwise in compliance with these guidelines and required terms and conditions (if any)) and provide information or documentation requested by Inductive Automation. For information regarding the discounts available at each level, please contact Inductive Automation.
5. OTHER TERMS
Inductive Automation shall be solely responsible for the administration of these guidelines and the Integrator Program, which may include elimination of the Integrator Program. Inductive Automation’s administration of these guidelines (including, but not limited to, granting an Integrator admission into the Integrator Program, interpretation of these guidelines or the determination of an integrator’s qualification for any given level), shall be final and binding upon each integrator. Inductive Automation may, from time to time, update or change any part of these guidelines, including by replacing either in its entirety, in Inductive Automation’s sole and absolute discretion.
Inductive Automation will periodically evaluate an integrator’s satisfaction of the requirements of their then-current level. An integrator’s failure to satisfy the requirements of their then-current level will result in a change to the level which the integrator qualifies for. An integrator’s misrepresentation of their then-current level to any third party may result in a change to the integrator’s level or exclusion from participating in the Integrator Program.
Integrators with more than one physical location must qualify for each level on an enterprise-wide basis, meaning that an integrator’s level will be the highest Level for which any of its individual locations qualifies.
An integrator’s use of our software which results in an end user dissatisfaction or Inductive Automation’s direct intervention may result in a change to the integrator’s level or exclusion from participating in the Integrator Program.
Upon Inductive Automation’s reasonable request, an integrator will participate in periodic meetings with Inductive Automation personnel to discuss the integrator’s marketing and resale of our products.
Inductive Automation does not provide any warranty or assurance that an integrator will achieve a certain outcome or profit by virtue of participating in the Integrator Program.
