Ignition Community Speaks at ARC Forum

Members of the Ignition team and the Ignition community were featured in presentations and discussion panels at this year’s Automation Research Corporation (ARC) World Industry Forum in Orlando, Fla. In the videos below, you can hear what they had to say about the topics of analytics and dashboards, and information-driven manufacturing.

Ted Krevis, who is on the advisory board for the upcoming Ignition Community Conference, and Dan Prudhoe of Sherwin-Williams gave a presentation about designing and developing an operational dashboard from an IT perspective.

Inductive Automation Director of Training Travis Cox participated in a two-part panel discussion on using analytics and dashboards for operational excellence, along with Doug Kushernick of ExxonMobil, and Ted Krevis and Dan Prudhoe of Sherwin-Williams.

Jason Coope of Schnitzer Steel, who is on the Ignition Community Conference advisory board, delivered a presentation on information-driven production. Among other things, he explains that Schnitzer Steel chose Ignition because it provided a combined MES / SCADA / HMI solution.


Inductive Automation MES Product Manager Tom Hechtman participated in a panel discussion with Coope, Honda's Andre Swain, Castrol InnoVentures' Bryan Rabenau and ILS Technology's Fred Yentz. The panel discussed aspects of information-driven production.
